Channel numbers for Plex available - Epg Admin - 07-31-2018
You can now add channel numbers to the xml file to be used in Plex.
The option is in your profile settings.
Please keep in mind, that one channel is available only once in the xml file, so if you use ChannelX and ChannelX HD, both of the channels will have the same channel number.
If it causes problems for you, you have to decide for one or the other.

No need for a screenshot.
It's very simple.
If you have ChannelX and ChannelX HD from the UK in your m3u, you will choose the tvg-id ChannelX.uk for both of them, because we do not generate EPG for HD channels separately, because it would be a waste of time and resources.
Now you have the lcn tag in your xml file, let's say the #3, and because Plex takes the lcn number as channel number (which is a very odd thing to do), both of the channels will have the channel number 3.
If this is a problem for you, you have to delete one of the channels from your list.
I personally never understood, why anybody wanted to keep an SD channel when he has the HD channel.
Or you can complain to Plex
